Hi, Steve, I posted on “Chasing Phantoms,” but in case it didn’t come through, this is what I said: Nicely done, Steve! You are a great speaker, so off the cuff! I certainly enjoyed Poe and Ling’s relationship in Poe’s Last Lament! Looking forward to tomorrow’s post!

Greetings OMOD:
I’m am VERY impressed with your entry into the world of social media! Like you, I have avoided social media like the plague, but (also like you) I have an Instagram account (I have that because I have a friend who sends me stuff that’s on Instagram, so I need the account to see what he is sending).
I really liked your opening video from yesterday’s post! Very well-done!!! And I have a suggestion for another drink/toast you might want to consider. How about getting some Absinthe (I believe that was the poison you tried when you were doing your Christmas cocktails a couple of years ago???) and do a toast to that vile, evil scoundrel Rufus Griswold? You could talk about the similarities between Griswold and the drink (will make you nauseous, green [representing his jealousy of Poe], stuff like that). VERY important of course is that you not actually take a sip of the stuff after you offer the toast–you wouldn’t want to be throwing up the rest of the evening!
If you run out of ideas for posts, try that one!
